The Townsend Hotel is one of Birmingham’s most significant destinations. When the facility required expansion, the solution was to design banquet rooms and guest suites that promoted a timeless quality—all contained in a five-story building mass in the Arts & Crafts tradition. The hotel now occupies one entire urban block. The result was a design whose exquisite interior finishes convey a sense of luxury and history—with cherry wood panels, crystal chandeliers, and dramatic vaulted ceilings.
